Comparing apples with tomatoes is the strategy being applied by  Malacañang to counter the expose made by former President Rodrigo Duterte. In a Saturday evening podcast, PRRD denounced the Bicameral report on the General Appropriations Bill submitted to Malacañang for PBBM’s signature.

Netizen urges Barbers: ‘Care to invite kin of drug users’ victims

DAVAO CITY — A netizen recently called the attention of Surigao del Norte Second District Rep. Robert Ace Barbers, the chair of the House of Representatives’ Quad Committee (Quadcom), to invite the families of those victimized by drug users in the ongoing probe on the war on drugs.

Temz Gordonas, who claimed he is a Surigaonon, a taxpayer, and a Filipino citizen, vowed to convince his family members and friends “to reject anyone connected to Barbers as our next representative in Congress.”

BBM: Poster boy of ingratitude

On this day eight years ago, then-President Rodrigo Duterte made possible what was then improbable: the burial of former President Ferdinand Marcos Sr. at the Libingan ng mga Bayani.

His burial at the hallowed grounds had been bitterly and vociferously opposed by the usual collaborators: the Liberal Party, radical Left, mainstream media, and the church. Displaying the political will that marked his leadership — and sorely missing after his term — FPRRD allowed the burial in line with the preparations made by the late strongman’s family.
