Rot in lavish bribe scheme
All 11 Army infantry Divisions recently fell under the spell of corrupt forces as core members and a solon representative (whose name sounds like a classic movie involving a colossal ape) of a House leader, alongside two compromised PMA graduates belonging to the 70s era, infiltrated their ranks.
Indulging in extravagant feasts, golf outings, and opulent dinner gatherings, the corrupt visitors shamelessly dangled hefty sums of cash before their targets.
A top commander, a three-star general, walked away with a staggering P300,000, while the two-star division commander pocketed P200,000.
Of course, brigade commanders weren't left out. They received P100,000 each, while the colonels present were handed P50,000 each.
While some commanders valiantly refused the tainted money, the situation took a darker turn as the corrupt group resorted to offering female companionship to the officers, a despicable act that most rejected.
To make matters worse, a suspicious P10 billion project was pitched to the division commanders with a catch – the corrupt core team would handpick the contractor, and 50% of the project costs would mysteriously vanish as "Return to Sender or RTS," raising serious concerns about the depth of corruption at play.
As the web of deceit unfolds, the true extent of the scandalous affair leaves a stain on the integrity of our military leadership.
Two fearless top commanders have broken their silence, their hearts heavy with betrayal and outrage. The sacred values of loyalty to God, country, and people have been shamelessly bartered for cold, hard cash.
One cannot help but wonder. Could the cancer of corruption have spread its tendrils into the very heart of our security forces? From the PNP, PAF Units, PN Units, and Phil Marines Units to the corridors of General Headquarters and the nerve centers of the six Unified Commands and three Major Services headquarters, no institution seems immune to the grip of greed and deceit.
How deep does this web of deceit extend, and who else have fallen prey to the seduction of ill-gotten gains?
